A New Chapter: Conversations, Tools, and Support

As we turned the page from 2025 to 2026, I’ve spent some time reflecting on where The Developing Doctor is headed. One word kept coming up for me: connection.
At its heart, this platform has always been about creating a place where physicians can share real stories, learn from one another, and find practical resources to support both their careers and their lives. With that vision in mind, I’m excited to share a few meaningful updates.
🎙 The Developing Doctor Podcast
This podcast is built around conversation. Most episodes will feature physicians and healthcare professionals telling their stories: how they’ve navigated training, leadership, burnout, reinvention, and growth within a complex system. Occasionally, I’ll also dive into skill-building topics, especially the kinds of skills physician-entrepreneurs and leaders are rarely taught in medical training.
Our newest episode is embedded below, and I hope it feels like sitting down with a colleague who gets it.

Deeper blog content.
I’ve been publishing weekly blog posts for nearly two years, and I’ve learned a lot along the way. Going forward, my goal is depth over volume—fewer posts, but more substance. If you’ve ever wondered what a physician burnout coach actually does, how coaching differs from therapy, or whether it might help you, our latest blog explores that honestly and practically:
A new resource.
I’ve also released a new eBook designed for high-achieving professionals who want to grow, feel better, and stay effective without burning themselves out in the process. It’s meant to be practical, reflective, and usable in real life.
One final change: you’ll be hearing from me a little less often. Podcast episodes will be released twice a month, and I’ll align the newsletter with those releases. That means you’ll get emails from me once or twice a month, always with the intention that they’re thoughtful, useful, and worth your time.
Thank you for being here and for helping make this a connected, thoughtful community.
I’m looking forward to what we’re building together.
Warmly,
Ben
